Concerning Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea

I think Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea is a game that needs to be published. Viewing the video I posted above as well as a quick Google search will reveal that the game is more than just someone's house rules.  I think the guys over at North Wind Adventures have a very ambitious and impressive game in their hands, and I truly believe that this KICKSTARTER campaign will help them bring their weird (and magnificent) vision to our gaming tables.

Speaking of Hyperborea (and engaging in some FEAR and LOATHING there) One of my immediate goals* for this coming year is to run North Wind Adventure's first module very soon. Charnel Crypt of the Sightless Serpent is a really cool scenario for 4 to 6 characters from levels 4 to 7. Since AS&SH won't be out 'til April, I'll probably use Swords & Sorcery Complete or perhaps even AD&D (or OSRIC). Some conversion and referee notes are coming soon!

*I also plan to kick off a Lamentations of the Flame Princess game and expand a Realms of Cthulhu (Savage Worlds) one-shot into a campaign.
